Gill Wales

Clinical Advisor

Gill Wales brings over 15 years of experience working in ADHD care. A Registered General Nurse and Registered Sick Children’s Nurse, she also holds a BSc Hons First Class in Psychology.

For more than a decade, Gill has championed the use of objective testing in ADHD assessments. Early in her career, she was introduced to Qbtesting and quickly recognized the value of incorporating objective data into clinical evaluations. She co-authored the business case for implementing QbTest within an NHS paediatric service and has remained a strong advocate for evidence-based assessment approaches ever since.

Gill’s primary focus lies in improving access to ADHD assessments, developing efficient pathways that maintain quality while reducing wait times. She is also deeply interested in the intersection of ADHD with other neurodevelopmental and mental health conditions, including eating disorders, anxiety, ASD, and OCD.

Outside of work, Gill enjoys holidays in Portugal, wild swimming, cycling, and agility training with her whippet, Ernie.
