What is ADHD? ATTENTION DEFICIT HYPERACTIVITY DISORDER

ADHD is a common behavioral disorder affecting around 5% of all school aged children. Of these children, around 50% continue to display symptoms into adulthood.

ADHD is often described as a persistent pattern of: Inattention, Hyperactivity and/or Impulsivity that gets in the way of daily life in a significant way. Therefore the conditions have negative effects on social, academic and/or occupational functioning.
